Spiked Skull painting

This is a hand painted acrylic painting on a 24in x 18in canvas done with entirely with a paint spatula. 

The skull was painted using a variety of colors that mixed together on the canvas as it was laid down giving lots of texture and unique color blends. 

The background was painted using blues and whites applied the same way, blending together as they were applied.
